We encourage you to take a moment to read about
each of us below. We want you to know us better, so we have taken time to put together some personal facts about ourselves.
"Just as each of us has one body with many members .
. . so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others." -- Romans 12:4-5

Joshua Thieler, Percussion (Praise & Worship)
Hi - my full name is Joshua Michael Thieler. I was born on Oct. 7, 1987, in Latrobe, PA. I am the drummer
for Remnant Ministries for all of the programs except the Christian rock concerts. I joined the ministry in Feb. 2001,
and now I fill in when I am needed. Other family members include my Dad, George; my Mom, Darla; our dogs, Aurelius (Aurie)
and Amber; and our noisy parakeets, Alice, Sapphire, Sunshine, Grace & Phoenix. I was homeschooled by my parents.
I started taking college courses at WCCC when I was 15. I graduated high school one year early, and started working
toward a degree in youth ministry at Geneva when I was 17. I worked part-time at both colleges as a tutor.
Now, I have a full-time job as a department manager at Giant Eagle. I hope to move to Chicago, IL, soon, to begin a
youth ministry in the area that will be similar to the Pittsburgh Youth Network. My favorite thing about being in Remnant
is getting the chance to witness to people. I attend church in Pittsburgh where I am an active youth leader for the
youth group. I love attending the youth group meetings and retreats, and working with the youth there. Other
interests I have include drawing, reading, listening to music, playing drums, basketball and collecting things (mostly comic
books). My music interests include Tourniquet, Zao, Extol, Still Breathing, and other Christian metal bands.
My prayer requests are for my friends who do not know Christ and for myself, that God would keep me in the center of His Will.
Thanks - Josh
Personal Testimonies
"I was born into a Christian family and accepted Christ
by the time I was 2 years old. I plan on serving my God until the end of the age, or my age."
